Fossil Blog

I believe that when you discover the history of a brand, it makes you relate to it more, especially when the story behind it is a personable one.  This rings true for Fossil, a family-run business discovered by two brothers…

It’s pretty impressive to also discover that since it’s creation in 1984, Fossil now make timepieces for the likes of Micheal Kors, Armani Exchange, Marc Jacobs and Burberry, to name a few, so you know you’re getting quality, precision and premium design with these guys.

The products ooze quality in fact yet, with prices starting from £85 for a watch, they’re easily within reach too.  The detailing, fabrics and forward-vision are what sets Fossil apart from anything else in a similar price bracket, from the embossed leather finishes to the branded zippers and glitzy studs set into modern metals.

When I visited the Fossil store in Churchill Square recently, I uncovered many surprises with a quirky range of new gifts, collaborations with creative people who endorse the brand (a welcome and refreshing change to the yawnsome reality stars of today), plus uber cool wearable tech.

Wearable Tech includes fashion-savvy connected bracelets and watches that allow you to customize the watch face, receive filtered notifications from your favourite contacts and track lifestyle priorities such as steps and calories – all while completing weekly curiosity challenges.  Go in store to find out what this creative movement is or search #FossilQ and download the app and get involved. The wearable tech pieces are engineered with Intel Innovation® and are compatible with Android and iOS operating systems.  Jewelry just got really exciting and useful right?

Fossil doesn’t stop at watches though; you can expect to find genuine high quality leather bags for him and for her, from clutch bags and passport covers to laptop carriers and the coveted Ermerson Tote.

Look out also for the Watch Bar to build your own design, the sparkly jewellery (I need to get me some of the rose-tone stackable bracelets), and fragrances.

Having always been fashion-lead, Fossil release new designs and collections each season, with the Christmas ranges hitting stores anytime now and the SS16 collection creeping in from January 2016.

I think it’s safe to say I have a new fashion crush and have already told Santa what’s on my Fossil Wish List.  Pop in and see for yourselves.
