LFW Street Style

For me, London Fashion Week is more about the style on the streets than at the shows since I find the array of real people all around me so inspiring. The paparazzi agree too as they run up to street stylers like A List celebrities, taking their picture to grab a shot of the most stylish people around.

I’ve taken three of my favourite street style looks from the Elle Magazine team and show you how to recreate each look.  The super cool lot translate key styles for autumn/ winter 2014 so perfectly so now you know what to shop for to remain in vogue.

Look 1: Relaxed Tailoring

If you’re not a sharp suit kinda girl then opt for a more relaxed vibe with this seasons jumpsuits and culottes.  H&M has mastered this trend and with Topshop opening next month, you’ll be spoilt for choice there too.  Cinch in a utilitarian jumpsuit with a belt and team tailored culottes with a sheer shirt or slogan tee for an urban slant.  These tailored grey culottes from a selection at Dorothy Perkins are a fantastic investment.

Look 2: Statement Skirts meet Sport Luxe

Take one flirty statement skirt with a bold print and dress it down with a sporty marl sweater.  It’s the perfect combination of glamour and practicality.
This Geo skater skirt, £24 Next is your wardrobe staple seeing you through autumn and winter and into spring next year.  On colder days, wear with coloured opaque tights or long winter boots with chunky wool socks peeping over the top.

Look 3: Cosy Cool

Blanket coats and capes are not only super stylish, they’re comfortable and cosy too and look fabulous worn over a simple tee and jeans.  Good news if you don’t get along with heels too as flats are in, with sneakers being top of the style heap.  Jazz up classic tones with fun accessories like a faux fur or slogan handbag such as this Miss Selfridge Tres Chic Clutch Bag, £16.
